Yacht Refit Asia is a superyacht refit and project management company, headquartered in Singapore, 336 Smith Street, with offices at Ocean Marina and Bangkok Dock in Thailand and an office in Vietnam. Phuket and wider Thailand yachts can request a quotation, and the work is done by our Thailand team at Ocean Marina.
Our Story
Established 1990
Yacht Refit Asia was established in 1990. Scott Taylor is the founder and owner. The company manages refit programmes for owners in Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, from the first survey through to redelivery.
Painting for these programmes is carried out by our sister company Superyacht Painters Ltd (UK).
We plan, specify, tender and manage refits on behalf of owners and captains, coordinating shipyards, contractors, suppliers and Class surveyors from first survey to redelivery.
Earlier programmes in Thailand include a 60 m Oceanco (2015): fairing and an Alexseal refinish, with the managed scope also covering the exterior, the engine room, the underwater hull and the pool, and a 1904 Camper & Nicholsons classic at 34 m. Delivered by founder Scott Taylor and Superyacht Painters Ltd.
Working with established shipyard partners in Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, we combine European refit and project-management standards with the cost-efficiency and skilled workforce of Southeast Asia.

Where it started
Our story in Asia began at Ocean Marina, Jomtien, Thailand. We started with full refits for the marina's members, the owners and captains who trusted us with their yachts, including the paint.
From there we grew across the region, with our head office in Singapore and teams in Thailand and Vietnam. But Ocean Marina is still home. It remains a base where we refit our clients' yachts today, including the paint.
