Superyacht Refit Southeast Asia is owner's-side refit and project management across Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, in that order. Yacht Refit Asia is independent of the yard. The founder and owner is Scott Taylor, EST. 1990. One specification can cover works that move between these places. The yard changes. The owner's project manager does not. This page compares the three countries. Each country page carries the address and the limit of what is confirmed.
The head office is Yacht Refit Asia Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202642126C) at 336 Smith Street, #05-303, New Bridge Centre, Singapore 050336. The Thailand branch and office is at Ocean Marina, Thailand. Vietnam is a project site in Haiphong, and the work there is delivered under the contract of Yacht Refit Asia Co., Ltd. (Thailand). The Singapore head office telephone is +65 8401 2442. The Thailand branch telephone is +66 (0)80 829 0122. Email is info@yachtrefitasia.com. Opening hours are not published.
Independent owner's-side management
The project manager works for the owner. Specification, tender comparison, budget, schedule and coordination of contractors, suppliers and Class surveyors stay with that manager through to redelivery. The company does not ask the owner to hold those threads separately in each country. A programme that starts with a survey in one place can be reported from another, still as one programme.
That role is set out on Superyacht Project Management in Asia. The general steps, specification and tender, yard selection, budget control, class and flag liaison, sea trials, warranty work and crew handover, are on the refit guides. They are written as process, not as a claim about a particular contract.
Class on these refits follows RINA, Lloyd's Register and Bureau Veritas. Class liaison includes ABS. The society on a given vessel is the one appointed for that vessel. A 40.8 m Benetti in Singapore in 2025 had works under RINA. That is a published programme, not a rule that every yacht uses RINA. A chemical and paint-use licence is mentioned only in general. No ISO standard or certification is claimed. Coatings, where a specification includes them, are by sister company Superyacht Painters, under the same founder and ownership.

Vietnam

Vietnam pageRefit process
The published sequence is the same in each country. A pre-refit condition survey comes before a written specification. Yards are asked to price that specification so the comparison is like-for-like. Dry dock coordination covers the slot, the docking plan and daily liaison, inside the same budget and schedule. Quality control and Class and flag documentation stay with the project manager until redelivery. Every refit and repair programme managed by Yacht Refit Asia carries a written workmanship warranty. An approved system also keeps the guarantee its manufacturer gives.
A hazardous task starts only when the site lead has checked that a valid permit is in place, displayed at the job, and closed out when the task ends. The method is on the health and safety page. Interior, upholstery and dashboard work, where the specification calls for it, is on the interior refit page.
