Yacht Refit Thailand
Yacht Refit Thailand is full refit and project management for the owner, based at Ocean Marina, Thailand. Yacht Refit Asia Co., Ltd. (Thai reg. 0205562024126) is the Thailand branch. The founder and owner is Scott Taylor, EST. 1990. The branch writes the specification, compares tenders, and keeps budget, schedule and yard coordination with one project manager through to redelivery. The branch is the office. It is not a shipyard.
The published telephone number is +66 (0)80 829 0122. Enquiries go to info@yachtrefitasia.com. Opening hours are not published. The team reviews the vessel, the scope and the timing, and replies from the Thailand branch. The postal address is 167/5 Unit 27, Ocean Marina, Na Jomtien, Chon Buri 20250, Thailand, and the same line is on the contact page.
Independent owner's-side management
An owner's-side refit in Thailand is one programme, run for the owner rather than for a yard. The project manager holds the specification, the tender comparison, the budget and the schedule, and coordinates contractors, suppliers and Class surveyors. The owner is not left to run those threads alone. The same management applies at Ocean Marina, Thailand, at Bangkok Dock, and on programmes in Phuket.
Independence here means the company is not the yard. Quotes are compared on one written specification, so the owner can see like-for-like scope. The decision of where the work is carried out stays with the owner. Yacht Refit Asia then coordinates that place through to redelivery. A specification prepared at Ocean Marina, Thailand, can also be the same programme as works reported from Singapore or from Haiphong. The comparison of the three countries is on Superyacht Refit Southeast Asia.
Scott Taylor is named only as founder and owner. There is no other leadership biography on this site. The head office is Yacht Refit Asia Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202642126C), 336 Smith Street, #05-303, New Bridge Centre, Singapore 050336. The countries, in this order, are Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. This page is the Thailand branch. Work in Vietnam is carried out under the contract of Yacht Refit Asia Co., Ltd. (Thailand).
Refit process
The published sequence starts with a pre-refit condition survey and a written specification. Yards are asked to price that specification. Quotes are compared on the same scope. Dry dock coordination covers the slot, the docking plan and daily liaison, so time on the hard sits inside the same programme as the specification. Budget, schedule and quality control stay with the project manager. Class and flag documentation is handled with that programme, not as a separate paper chase after the work has finished.
Class on these refits follows RINA, Lloyd's Register and Bureau Veritas. Class liaison includes ABS. The society on a given vessel is the one appointed for that vessel. A chemical and paint-use licence is held as a general part of the work. This page does not name a course, a certification, or an ISO standard.
Where the specification calls for them, the programme includes interior refit, upholstery and dashboard work, on the same schedule as the yard work. Those scopes are described on the interior refit page. Coatings, where the specification includes them, are managed inside the programme and carried out by sister company Superyacht Painters, under the same founder and ownership. Every refit and repair programme managed by Yacht Refit Asia carries a written workmanship warranty. An approved system also keeps the guarantee its manufacturer gives.
A hazardous task on site starts only when the site lead has checked that a valid permit is in place, displayed at the job, and closed out when the task ends. The practical method, including risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks and the yard's own rules, is on the health and safety page. The steps of specification, yard comparison, budget, class liaison, sea trials, warranty and crew handover are set out as general process on the refit guides, and the management role itself is on Superyacht Project Management in Asia.
Thailand branch at Ocean Marina, Thailand
From the office at Ocean Marina, Thailand, the team writes specifications, compares yard quotes, books dry dock, and coordinates contractors, suppliers and Class surveyors through to redelivery. Owners use the branch as the Thailand base before the vessel goes on the hard, and for reporting while the programme is under way. The office is in Na Jomtien, near Pattaya, about 90 minutes from Bangkok. That line describes the office address. It does not make the branch a shipyard.

Published places in Thailand are distinct. Ocean Marina, Thailand, is the branch and the company's own base, including a 40.2 m Benetti and a 41 m motor yacht. Bangkok Dock is a project site, not the office. Phuket is covered from this branch and has its own page, Yacht Refit Phuket.
Published programmes
At Bangkok Dock, a 60 m Oceanco in 2015 was managed to a written specification: fairing and an Alexseal finish, covering the exterior, the engine room, the underwater hull and the pool. A 34 m Camper & Nicholsons classic, built in 1904, was also at Bangkok Dock. Both were delivered by founder Scott Taylor and Superyacht Painters Ltd. A 42 m catamaran in Thailand received fairing repairs and a full Awlgrip finish. These are the published Thailand programmes of that kind. Vessel names are not used.
Princess programmes in Phuket, from December 2020 into 2021, are the published Phuket proof. They are described on the Phuket page without yacht, client or yard names. Case studies for Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam are grouped on the case studies page.
Send the vessel, the scope and the timing to info@yachtrefitasia.com or call +66 (0)80 829 0122. The Thailand branch replies from Ocean Marina, Thailand. If the programme also touches Singapore, the head office address is on the contact page. The Singapore page is Superyacht Refit in Singapore, and Vietnam work in Haiphong is on Yacht Refit in Vietnam.
